Project: Whale watching pavilion

Site: The Bluff – Victor Harbor, South Australia

Focuses: Public place, context, metaphor

Description: A conceptual sketch for a public whale watching pavilion drawing inspiration from old timber whaling ships and the humpback whale, a local species. As a popular tourist destination with a rich maritime and whaling past, the pavilion provides a place for people to view seasonal migrations and connect with local history.
