Project: Multi-use emergency housing & ‘air bnb’ style creative hub
Site: Tatham St – Adelaide, South Australia
Focuses: Dwelling, multi-use, parasitic architecture
Description: Exploring various typologies of movable elements, the design provides the occupants with the ability to reconfigure both internal space and external connections. By offering control over the environment the design signals metaphorical transitions from secure/enclosed to open/connected in the case of emergency housing, while for creative uses it provides interesting opportunities for spatial and mechanical interplay.
